Hotel was like a Finnish sauna, but with comfy beds. I felt one with nature in the garden, especially when the pond made strange sounds. The breakfast buffet was a delightful mystery tour of German cuisine.
The Finnish sauna didn't have a garden view, just a view of a wall. #DisappointedFashionista

The staff are incredibly kind and accommodating, even going out of their way to ensure dinner was available for us when we arrived late. The rooms, with their "mountain view," offer nice views over the beautiful landscape of the Black Forest. To top it off, the breakfast buffet was excellent, with a great selection of local cheese, meats, and homemade jam.

The hotel offered a stunning location in the heart of the Black Forest, which made for some fantastic day trips and hikes. The staff members were friendly and offered bus tickets for my hiking adventures. The breakfast was delicious and varied, and I appreciated the option to request scrambled eggs and bacon.
The hotel's wifi signal was unreliable and only available in central areas. the front desk staff were not helpful in providing tourist information and directed me to a tourist center with limited hours.

The morning meal could be improved by addressing the issue of flies near the breakfast buffet.
